7.5” Gauge Track Panels

Pre-assembled track panels are recommended to simplify railroad construction. Rail is made of heavy-duty 6061-T6 extruded aluminum with special GATC "No Tip" rail profile. No Tip profile is designed specifically for use with GATC riding cars. Most other locomotives, riding cars and rolling stock will run on it but will not benefit from the No Tip feature. Ties are 2” x 2” x 13.6”, spaced 4” on center and specially treated to .40 percent . This ground contact rating is generally not available to the public in 2" x 2" lumber.

If you would like to assemble your own track, you will need rails, railroad ties, screws, and rail joiners.
