Grade Crossing

Do you need to cross a driveway or path with your railroad? If so, our Grade Crossing is the ideal solution. Each section is 8' (244cm) long x 12' (30cm) deep.

Adjustable eyelets with bolts are included so you can perfectly position the assembly during installation. There are just four main steps required to install the perfect crossing for your railroad:

1. Cut driveway and excavate according to instructions.

2. Pound rebar into the ground in each eyelet location.

3. Adjust for level and slope and tighten bolts.

4. Pour concrete and trowel to desired finish.

If your crossing is less than 8' (244cm), you can cut it with a reciprocating saw to a shorter length. If your crossing is more than 8' (244cm), sections can easily be joined together for longer lengths.

The Driveway Crossing is made of hot-rolled and bar stock steel and welded into a single, fully-assembled unit. Black powder-coat finish.
