Any product purchased directly from The Great American Train Company (GATC) may be returned within 90 days of its original ship date (30 days for commercial use). If you are not fully satisfied, simply send it back for an exchange or for a full refund of the product's original purchase price (less shipping and handling). For locomotives, riding and rolling stock, GATC will also refund your original shipping charge and arrange for and pay for return shipping (contiguous 48 United States only). This policy also applies to options and accessories ordered and returned at the same time as these same items.

Full One-Year Warranty

All GATC products are protected against defects in materials and workmanship, under ordinary and normal use, for a period of one year (90 days for commercial use) from the product's original shipping date.

Under the terms of the warranty, GATC may elect to repair, replace or issue a refund for products that are defective or have sustained damage in shipping. Replacement of products or parts subject to normal wear and tear is the responsibility of the customer. If GATC chooses to accept a return under warranty, you may return the defective or damaged product only after you call and receive a Return Authorization number from GATC. You will also receive a refund for your original shipping charges and GATC will arrange and pay for your return shipping charges.

NOTE: The 90-Day Free Trial and One-Year Warranty are non-transferable and do not cover items that have been modified or damaged by abuse, usage not in accordance with product instructions, improper care, or improper maintenance.
